Intended use

The intended use of AltST is to manage fixed assets including:

  • Balance sheet records,
  • tax records,
  • accounting records.

The main task of the program is to automatize the process of calculating depreciation, entering the documents concerning fixed assets (increase in fixed assets - ZW, decrease in fixed assets - ZM, OT – receipt of fixed assets etc.), entering into the books the operations concerning fixed assets and monthly bookings in the internal financial/accounting module and the export of bookings to SAP® Business One and the presentation of all the data and specifications relevant to the user in the form of printouts on the screen and the printer. All the analyses, printouts and documents generated by the AltST program are prepared in the FastReport tool, thanks to which they are more aesthetic and clear; what is more, they provide the user with the possibility of generating own specifications or correcting the existing ones and their easy inclusion into AltST. You can without any limitations define your own templates of standard documents and locate them in a proper place in the program. As a consequence, the user receives a flexible and independent way of the creation of any given analysis and document.

The records of a fixed asset

  • keeping the records of a fixed asset
  • • creation of the documents for the records of a fixed asset (OT- receipt of fixed assets, LT – liquidation, ZW - increase in fixed assets, MT – change of the place of utilization)
  • creation of numerical series for documents
  • booking of documents according to accounting schemes
  • • calculation of tax/balance sheet depreciation (methods: one-off in the month of the entry, one-off in the following month, linear, degressive)
  • system creates the depreciation plan
  • booking of monthly depreciation
  • export of accounting documents to the SAP Business One system
  • overview of accounting documents (with the division into the already booked ones and the unbooked)
  • records of the places of utilization and the users of the resources from the historical aspect (tracking the changes)
